School Environmental Health & Safety
AirTech's
School Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Programs provide services
necessary for the satisfaction of state and federal OSHA requirements and Minnesota
Department of Children, Families and Learning (or state Department of Education)
guidelines for public and private schools. Each individual program is designed to not only
meet the requirements of the law but also streamline the health and safety activities for
the school district. Our service provides many helpful features capped with a summary
report at the end of each school year detailing the status of your program. Available services include,
but are not limited to, the following programs:
Minnesota
programs meet requirements set forth by Minnesota OSHA and the Minnesota Department of
Health and comply with the recommendations issued by the Minnesota Department of Children,
Families and Learning. WI, ND, SD & IA
programs meet requirements set forth by Federal OSHA and applicable state Department of
Health rules and comply with recommendations issued by each states Department of
Education. On-site training is provided as part of the initial and ongoing program services. Training is normally performed on-site and can include (but is not limited to) the following sessions:
Documentation provided as part of the EH&S Program includes
a Program Activities Manual, a Rules and Regulations manual, an Annual Reports Summary
manual and annual DCFL reporting documents. The
Program Activities Manual is updated follow each site visit. A new Annual Report Summary manual is
prepared each year and includes all reports and data prepared for the previous program
year. All elements of the program are computer based for ease of use
and hard copies are maintained at member locations. This
includes the actual site-specific health and safety programs designed for the District.
District personnel can monitor and maintain the program with minimal time and effort via
our website. Once the Districts new E/OHS Program is in place, AirTech's on-site health and safety technician will begin program maintenance site visits. During this period, our representative will monitor the program's effectiveness by performing regular site inspections and will continue to update all program materials. If necessary, additional programs are added or existing programs modified for the duration of our agreement period in order to maintain compliance with regulatory changes. |
