LABORATORY SERVICES

AirTech Environmental currently maintains a full-service in-house asbestos and indoor air quality analytical laboratory and performs analysis for both our own projects and for outside clients. This full-service approach allows us quicker turn-around on our own investigations and affords our laboratory clients the additional experience and insight we have gained from years of sample collection and analysis.

Unlike labs or consulting companies that can only perform one side of the equation, we use our experience from "both sides of the fence" to trace problems to their sources and provide the effective mitigation strategies required to solve specific problems.

Asbestos Analysis

AirTech’s lab participates in the AIHA’s proficiency in analytical testing program, analyst registry program, and bulk sample proficiency as well as the Minnesota Department of Health round robin program.

Currently analysis options include phase contrast microscopy (PCM) for asbestos air sample analysis and polarized light microscopy (PLM) for asbestos bulk sample analysis. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) can also be performed through one of our laboratory associations.

Indoor Air Quality/Microbial Analysis

Our IAQ/microbial laboratory services are designed to efficiently detect and identify contaminants in a variety of sample mediums. Our investigation experience allows us to provide the customized analysis methods and report formats each individual client needs.

AirTech performs most IAQ/microbial analysis in-house but in some cases samples are forwarded to laboratories specializing in the analysis methods best suited for an individual sample.
